LanguageLocalization Project Manager
Remote (United States) · Contract / Full-time
About the role
DCLS localization work ranges from regulated document translation to multi-market content and software programs. The Localization Project Manager runs these projects from intake to delivery, keeping them on scope, on schedule, and on quality.
You coordinate linguists, engineers, and subject-matter reviewers, manage client expectations, and own the assets — terminology, style guides, and translation memories — that make each program faster and more consistent over time.
What you’ll do
- Plan and manage localization projects across languages, file formats, and toolchains.
- Coordinate translators, editors, reviewers, and localization engineers against each schedule and budget.
- Maintain terminology databases, style guides, and translation memories per client.
- Run quality checks and manage client review cycles and sign-off.
- Track project financials and margin against each statement of work.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned localization accounts.
What you bring
- 3+ years managing translation or localization projects, ideally in an LSP or in-house localization team.
- Working knowledge of CAT/TMS platforms (e.g., memoQ, Trados, Phrase) and localization QA.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and written communication.
- Experience with regulated content (legal, medical, government) is a plus.
- Additional languages welcome, not required.
How to apply
Complete the short application form — it takes about 5–10 minutes, and you can attach your resume and, optionally, a cover letter. Questions? Email hr@dclsglobal.com.
