About the role
DCLS pairs AI capability with consulting so every deployment maps to a business outcome. The AI Solutions Engineer builds those solutions, from selecting the right use cases through shipping to production, with governance, evaluation, and human oversight built in from the start.
Much of the work targets the repetitive, rules-heavy, document-heavy tasks that slow client teams down, including in language operations. You are as comfortable saying "automation isn't the right answer here" as you are building the thing.
What you’ll do
- Identify and prioritize AI and automation use cases with client teams.
- Design and build solutions using large language models, retrieval, and workflow automation.
- Implement evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Integrate with client systems and data sources securely.
- Document solutions and support client teams through adoption and handover.
- Contribute to technical proposals and solution architecture.
What you bring
- 3+ years building software, with recent hands-on work on LLM-based systems.
- Practical experience with prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and API integration.
- Sound judgment about where AI is and is not appropriate, including risk and compliance considerations.
- Strong written communication for client-facing documentation.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security requirements in regulated environments is a plus.
